Pool & Irrigation Maintenance

Pool cleaning and chemical balancing, plus periodic irrigation checks and repairs.

Pool & Irrigation Maintenance

A pool needs regular chemical balancing, not just cleaning — chlorine and pH outside range damage the finish and the equipment before they affect swimmers. Irrigation networks need periodic checks for blocked emitters, broken sprays and leaks, because one blocked emitter kills a tree without anyone noticing.

Scope of work

  • Water chemistry tested regularly, not judged by eye
  • Filter and skimmer baskets cleaned, and pump run hours reviewed
  • Every irrigation zone checked and blocked emitters cleared
  • Irrigation and pump schedules adjusted between summer and winter
  • Leak checks based on tracked water-loss rate
  • A report after each visit with readings and treatments

How we deliver

  1. Initial assessment

Measure water chemistry and inspect equipment and the irrigation network to establish condition and actual needs.

  2. Setting the schedule

Define visit frequency and content: chemistry, cleaning, equipment checks, and irrigation review.

  3. Routine visits

Test and treat, clean filter and baskets, check zones, and set timers.

  4. Reporting and tracking

Recorded readings after each visit so trends emerge — gradual loss reveals a leak before it becomes visible.

Frequently asked

How often should pool chemistry be tested?
In the UAE climate consumption is faster due to heat, evaporation and use. Regular testing prevents swinging between under-treated water and over-chemicalised water.
Water is dropping — leak or evaporation?
Both occur, and tracking the rate distinguishes them. Evaporation varies predictably with heat and wind; a leak produces steady loss unrelated to weather. Recorded readings are what separate them.
How many hours should the pool pump run?
It depends on water volume and the required filtration turnover. Too few hours leaves water under-filtered; too many consume electricity for nothing — the figure is calculated, not copied.
Why do emitters block so quickly?
Water deposits and salts. A filter and pressure regulator reduce it greatly, and periodic line flushing prevents build-up. A routine visit catches a blocked zone before the plants on it die.
Are chemicals included in the contract?
Standard chemicals for routine treatment are included. Exceptional treatments — such as clearing extensive algae after long neglect — are quoted separately.
Can I contract for the pool only, without irrigation?
Yes, but combining them is more economical because it is one visit and one team. Most sites with a pool also have an irrigation network.
