Glass room, artificial grass and wall waterfall in Al Bateen

Roeyat Al Bonyan for Contracting, Building Maintenance & Landscaping completed a project for Dr. Adnan Ibrahim's private villa in Al Narjeel, Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi, covering 400 m² over 3 weeks.

Project scope

  • Construction of a glass room with a black aluminum frame and full-height glazing.
  • Installation of artificial grass across the surrounding outdoor areas.
  • Construction of a wall waterfall as the main water feature.
  • A spaced marble stepping-stone path set into the turf.

The project was completed for a private villa in Al Narjeel, Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi, combining three elements in one space: a black-framed aluminum glass room, artificial turf across the garden, and a wall waterfall as the visual and water focal point.

The challenge

The site required coordinating three distinct systems in one relatively small space (400 m²) within just 3 weeks: the glass room structure, the waterfall's electrical and water lines, and the artificial grass — getting the sequence wrong meant tearing out finished work.

The solution

The aluminum and glass structure went in first, then the waterfall's electrical and water lines before it was closed in with final cladding, with artificial grass laid last so it would be delivered undamaged by the other trades' work.

The outcome

The space was handed over in exactly 3 weeks — a working glass room, a running wall waterfall, and artificial grass installed — with no schedule slippage.
